Day 1: Hoi An – Prao (150km)
We will depart at 8:00 am, stop and visit the traditional pottery village of Thanh Ha, driving through the rice fields, stopping at the Cham tower and historic American war monument.
Riding along the Ho Chi Minh trail, we will stop to swim and relax in the waterfall. Then continue into the highlands to the village Co Tu minority. We will have dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Prao – Hue (170km)
After breakfast, we will continue the adventures along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, visit another minority village then ride through the pristine jungle along the border of Laos, enjoying spectacular mountain passes and tunnels before stopping for lunch. After lunch, we will leave the Ho Chi Minh Trail to travel along Highway 49, stopping on the way to relax and swim in the “blood springs”. Then we will ride up to the top of Ma Oi Pass, entering a new planted jungle, which was destroyed during the war, before arriving in Hue.
Trip includes:
- Experienced English-speaking guide or French-speaking
- Motorcycle or semi-automatic scooter
- Personal, local licensed driver, if required (for pillion passengers)
- Fuel, meals, Entry fees, International safety standard helmet
- Drinking water and soft drinks, rain poncho – if needed
