Through the support of Cat Tien National Park, Mekong Delta Travel has constructed daily departure for small group Cat Tien National Park tour of 2 days 1 night depart from Ho Chi Minh City to meeet nature seekers chance to experience wild life, and at the same time may contribute ideas to better the Conservation. Day 1: Saigon – Cat Tien National Park Tour (Lunch, dinner)

07:30 Mekong Delta Travel tour guide and van will pick you up at your hotel and leave busy Ho Chi Minh City for Cat Tien National Park at the distance of 150 km with an estimated driving about 3 hour. You will approach the volcanic area. Upon arrival, we cross the Dong Nai river and head to the Cat Tien National Park headquarter  for check in. Followed by lunch break by park restaurant with chance for wild life as well!

You will start the Cat Tien National Park Tour with an 8-km hike along the nature trail where you will see many gigantic trees before returning to the Cat Tien National Park Guest house.
What type of trees on this trail? There are Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus tectorius (Trung quan), Afzelia cyclocarpa (Go).

at night, you will go on an open-aired jeep leading us to The TaLai buffer zone for a night safari where we may spot tree -shrews, civets, mouse deer, wild boars, and pygmy Loris. You will back to your Cat Tien National guest house for refresh. Have dinner and stay overnight at the Park guest house. The Deluxe Forest Floor Lodge within the park available on request.

Day 2: Cat Tien Park Trekking – Saigon/Dalat (Breakfast, lunch)

You will take an open-aired jeep transfer 9 km to a junction, where we will hike 5 km to The Crocodile Lake Station. You will have a rest stop and enjoy wild life from the lake’s watch tower with many birds surrounding. After your wild life experience at the Lake’s watch tower, we hike back to the junction and our jeep brings us back to your lodging.
Have lunch break, and take our awaiting a/c van returning to Ho Chi Minh City. You will be in Ho Chi Minh City at an estimated time of arrival at 5 pm. End services.

Options for easier hikes:

• The seven km waterfalls route (Thac Troi, Thac Dung): takes three hours. It’s easy and passes by many huge trees.
• Hike 8 km to The Bird watching tower and wild life can be seen en-route.
